Meet Pete

Peter Gaulke's began his career in comedy in the early days of the "comic boom" in Los Angeles, California, where he made dozens of TV appearances including, "Late Night With Conan O'Brian," as well as numerous comedy specials for MTV, Comedy Central, and Showtime.  After a series of TV writing assignments, including "Married With Children," Gaulke was hired as a staff writer for Saturday Night Live in the '90's.

His success at Saturday Night Live springboarded into writing a number of successful major motion pictures, including Say It Isn't So for the Farrelly Brothers, Black Knight with Martin Lawrence, Ice Age the Meltdown, Drunk Parents starring Alec Baldwin and Salma Hayek and is currently in development of the movie “12 Days of Christmas” for Amazon. His first book, “Max Fernsby and the Infinite Toys”, was published in 2024 by Harper/Collins.  Peter Gaulke grew up and still resides in Venice, California.
